Young Dragons, a division of  Oghma Creative Media, is a traditional publisher. We have three imprints: Little Dragons (Lee Press), which publishes children’s picture books and middle grade readers, Fledgling Dragons (Fife Press), which houses our young adult fiction line, and Inquisitive Dragons (Arbroath Abbey) for non-fiction parent and educator resources.

At this time, Young Dragons Press is not accepting submissions for Picture Books.

Thank you for your interest.

Little Dragons publishes creative, socially conscious, educational, and humorous fiction and non-fiction titles for children of all ages. We welcome unsolicited manuscripts.  Little Dragons is actively seeking picture books, middle-grade fiction, and nonfiction. We look for books with compelling stories showing what is happening in the life of a child or a family.

Fledgling Dragons publishes Young Adult books with a solid sense of the target audience. We are actively seeking young adult books with age-appropriate protagonists falling within the target age by a year or two. We are very interested in series for young adults.

Fledgling Dragons look for plots:

-that are easy to follow

-without too many subplots/characters

-and are ideal for this age range.

Inquisitive Dragons publishes nonfiction books for parents and teachers who are looking for resources to enhance learning at home, in the classroom, or in inclusive educational settings. These resources do not include activities books or comics.

Inquisitive Dragons look for:

-copy that is easy to use for the parent or teacher

-educational nonfiction

-and ideal for grades K-8.

At Young Dragons, we like to publish authors. With this in mind, we want authors who plan to write more than one book. We look to develop a relationship with authors that encourages multiple books or series. Before you submit, please carefully read our submission guidelines.
