Richard DuBois

Richard DuBois fell in love with monsters, horror, and all things spooky at an early age. An avid reader, Richard graduated from reading Edgar Allan Poe at age nine to books by Stephen King and Dean Koontz in his teens. With the birth of his son in 2008, Richard began writing for children. As a person of mixed-race Jamaican ancestry and the father of a son of mixed-race Trinidadian ancestry, Richard wanted to give his son the kind of page-turning, sleep-with-the-lights-on fiction he enjoyed so much as a child with characters that reflect their family. He lives in Piscataway, New Jersey, with his son and rescue mutt, Boris.
